Winter Lager

We take our time with this beer, cold fermenting our Helles in the German tradition with bottom fermenting lager yeast. Soft and smooth with subtle flavors of Colorado pilsner malt (graham cracker) and noble hops (spicy and herbal) shining through. More sweet than bitter with a dry finish, this pale lager is both approachable and sophisticated. Best consumed while red-faced and overheated (say, in that heavy wool sweater you pull out once a year, axe still in hand, icicles now melting from your eyebrows as you hover triumphantly over the red-hot woodstove you’ve just restoked).
