Some of the most beloved classic rock music over the last five decades has come from the hands of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Now, six veteran Santa Fe musicians have formed the JB/EC Band focusing on Beck and Clapton’s best solo efforts as well as selections from the Yardbirds, John Mayall, Cream, and Blind Faith. Their Santa Fe debut will be at Tumbleroot Brewery, September 25.The JB/EC Band includes vocalists Ellie Dendahl, Julie Stewart, singer/guitarist Rob Heineman, drummer Lee Steck, bassist Keith McGuire and guitarist Phil Moon. “We all grew up on classic music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck were important parts of the soundtrack of our lives,” stated Phil Moon, co-founder and guitarist. “The iconic tunes include the obvious hits and most recognized music of the era as well as a few interesting obscure songs that are fun to play and probably a surprise for the audience to hear.”
