Join us for an impactful evening at Tumbleroot on Agua Fría on Thursday, September 5th, at 7:30 PM, as we present “Return to Palestine,” an Al Jazeera film that sheds light on the struggles and resilience of Palestinian communities. This educational screening aims to bring awareness to the intersectional work of land sovereignty movements building both in New Mexico and Palestine.
In addition to the film, the event will feature interactive booths showcasing art, educational materials, and opportunities for coalition building. This is a space for community members to engage, learn, and discover ways to get involved in intersectional activism.
A Q&A session will follow the screening, providing a platform for respectful and focused conversations within the community. Mutual aid efforts from this event will support both local New Mexico agricultural initiatives (25%) and agricultural restoration efforts in Palestine (75%).
