Albuquerque-based ONE MORE SILVER DOLLAR plays the music of the Allman Brothers and friends with soaring guitars, soulful vocals, and a rock-solid bed of southern syncopated boogie.
The ever-evolving musical vehicle for notorious psych-rock musician Anton Newcombe, the Brian Jonestown Massacre has endured numerous phases and iterations since arriving in the mid-'90s, becoming something of an independent institution in the process. Early highlights like 1996's Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request showed Newcombe's propensity for melding late-'60s psychedelia with textured shoegaze, while later standouts like 2015's imaginary soundtrack Musique de Film Imaginé took a more cerebral and experimental approach.
A 90's Country Music Experience
Trying Not to Have a Thought, out September 12 via Saddle Creek, isn’t just Algernon Cadwallader’s first album since 2011’s Parrot Flies, it’s their first with the original lineup since 2008’s Some Kind of Cadwallader. Shortly after that debut, drummer Nick Tazza and guitarist Colin Mahony departed; Algernon broke up in 2012 and stayed dormant until their feverishly anticipated 2022 reunion.

The Institute of American Indian Art's Activism Club will also be hosting a canned food drive to help address growing food insecurity in our community.
We are asking for people to donate canned and non-perishable food items. Some of The Food Depot’s most requested food items include canned protein, grains, rice, pre-packaged snacks, canned fruit (in juice), canned vegetables, and easy/ready meal kits. Glass items are not preferred.
Activism Club is also collecting monetary donations for The Food Depot. Donations can be made online at thefooddepot.org or at Tumbleroot. For every dollar donated, The Food Depot can provide up to four meals for hungry New Mexicans.

Music has the power to move us—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. For SunSquabi—Kevin Donohue , Josh Fairman , and Scotty Zwang —that power lives in the unspoken language they share on stage and in the studio. With millions of streams and high-energy performances at venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, they’ve carved out a space where electronic production, jam-band freedom, and funk-rooted grooves collide.
Born and raised in Montana, Eryn has small-town, Western roots that influence through her songwriting. Marrying emotive lyrics and moving melodies, her autobiographical originals explore several genres, but cling strongly to the authenticity of folk and traditional country. While New Mexico has become her home base, she has played all over the West coast, forever planting her musical magic in the hearts of those who hear her.

Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where he fell under the influence of country blues early on and developed a songwriting style that was uniquely his. As a budding performer, Max apprenticed in the rarefied musical micro-climate of northern New Mexico, where troubadours like Michael Martin Murphey and Ray Wylie Hubbard helped foster a Western folk sound both cosmic and country.
YES WE ARE A "SHOW"
...and we love the theatrical and visual aspect of the performance, but we also take the music very seriously.
At the end of the night, after the sequins have faded from memory, we know that it's the music and delivery which leave a lasting impression. We would be embarrassed if we didn't knock you out both vocally and instrumentally.
We need to know that we delivered our very best...
every time. And we do.
Channeling the spirit of the Grateful Dead in Northern New Mexico.
From the southern plains of Texas, Rattlesnake Milk summons the sound of the prairie, mimicking the howl of coyotes and the pulsing rhythm of a lonesome junk train. While farming cotton for a family friend, Lou Lewis found inspiration to record an eight-song demo listening to the classics played on KDAV 1590 AM in the empty flatlands of his hometown. Those demos paid homage to Lou's favorite Dust Bowl migrant songs and haunted melodic gems from the 50s and 60s.
