PRONGHORN AND THE PIÑON
The stars had aligned that night at the local folk jam when the members of the band met and decided they all wanted to play music together, and it turned out to be a better fit than anyone could have dreamed. The group’s wide range of unique experiences and instruments blend to create a lively and fun mix of country, folk, and fiddle tunes. Will Vinson, from Dallas, TX, holds down the rhythm section with his amazing slap-bass playing style and sometimes switches to guitar and vocals. Cate Raff hails from Greenville, SC and adds her heavenly vocal harmonizing, as well as flute and banjolele. Tim Goering brings the soul to the group with his heartfelt harmonica playing, and has lived many different places across the world. Finally, Tab Dougherty entertains with his fiery fiddling, and sincere singing and guitar playing style, and is originally from New Orleans. All members live in the Santa Fe area now, and enjoy bringing their unique sound to the place they call home.

Joe Cat is an Americana Singer/Songwriter living in Athens Georgia. Growing up listening to rock n’ roll in the blue collar town of Endicott, New York. His Americana style gained many of it’s roots from that sound. Joe Cat is a veteran trubadour, traveling the country and playing his music for everyone.
Joe Cat has released six albums beginning in 2010. Prior to a life as a musician Joe Cat worked as a factory worker, a U.S. Marine, and many other low wage, blue collar jobs. His sound is authentic and a true form of Americiana. Joe Cat is gritty, blue-collar, music.
