Honey Double IPA

An intensely hoppy, strong pale ale with subtle malt notes reminiscent of honey on toast. It’s slightly dry finish and floral notes are due, in fact, to the addition of local honey added at the end of the boil. The intense flavors and aromas of citrus and tropical fruit come from the addition of citra, mosaic and amarillo hops both at whirlpool and at the end of fermentation, when we inject the hops into the fermenter using our specially designed hop howitzer. Although intense in flavor, it is surprisingly smooth and drinkable. Available bottle conditioned and on draft.
