A note on our malt: Tumbleroot uses malted barley, wheat, and rye from Colorado Malting Company, our local southwest maltsters who have been farming the nearby San Luis Valley since the 1930s and creating malts with the signature flavor profiles that we love to feature in our brews.

Most breweries purchase malt from the large-scale malting companies that dominate the industry, and these grains often travel halfway around the world in their journey from field to malt house before finally reaching the brewery. At Tumbleroot, we believe in supporting our local farmers, which is why we use locally grown and malted grain, shipped directly from the San Luis Valley to our brewhouse in Santa Fe.
